Coaching one-to-one

Coaching stance

As a relational and systemic coach I build on your talent, resilience and wonderful potential. Without being attached to the result, I offer a safe space to discuss sensitive issues, explore the underlying narrative and experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. Compassionate distance helps me empathize with you without getting entangled. I engage with you, listen without judgment, identify your needs and potential, challenge you, add variation, and thus help you on your way to explore new frontiers.

Approach

At the outset of our coaching journey we acknowledge the situation as it is. Subsequently, we look at the bigger picture and we mark the dot on the horizon, what life looks like once the coaching comes to an end. The coaching is the journey to achieve your personal and/or business goal(s). In the safety of the coaching room, you develop awareness of what is happening for you and what is holding you back. You then identify and experiment with small changes towards better. During the coaching a lot of work is done to make sure that head, heart and gut are aligned. Only then can change be sustained over time. In order to achieve this result I often work with constellations.

“Between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said, much love is lost.” -Khalil Gibran

Working with constellations

Constellations uses a physical map to externalise your inner image of a relationship issue, leadership challenge or crisis. In a constellation everybody and everything that is present for you can be represented. This includes abstract elements, personal emotions and societal dynamics like ‘anxiety’ and ‘the unknown future.’ We can more easily make a connection with something when we are in contact with a physical representative and allowed to include everything just as it is (John Whittington 2020)

What can you expect from me?
  • I quickly cotton on to your business challenges and I speak your language.
  • We work on the basis of a contract. You are supported in achieving the goals you set yourself.
  • You will learn to leverage your core strengths, skills and competences to identify and develop new ones.
  • You are offered a space to reflect and try things out to reinforce new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.
  • You are given the space to think things through at your own pace.
